Dr. Ali M. Al-Khouri
Dr. Ali M. Al-Khouri is the Advisor of the Arab Economic Unity Council, Chairman of the Arab Federation for Digital Economy, Member of the Executive Office of Specialized Federations in the Arab League.
Dr. Al-Khouri comes with a total experience of over 28 years during which he participated in the implementation of many mission-critical and strategic initiatives in the public sector.
He served as an advisor and committee member in various international institutions, most notably the United Nations, the European Union and the World Economic Forum. He is also an active member in many advisory boards of international institutions and task forces interested in the development of sustainable knowledge societies.
Among the most recent initiatives that he is playing a leadership role in are Arab Digital Economy Vision to support digital transformation of economies in the Arab region and Digital Economy Blueprint for West African (ECOWAS) Countries.
Dr. Al-Khouri is recognized both nationally and internationally as think-tank, and for his management expertise and technical knowledge, having developed different intellectual methodologies and frameworks to support various fields of practice.
He has published over 140+ management books and scientific research articles in international peer-reviewed journals.
He has appeared in 2018 as world’s 100 most influential people in digital government, in the list that was published by “Apolitical”, funded by European Commission and World Economic Forum along with other international organizations including governments.
Dr. Al Khouri is a Professor and Fellow of the British Institute of Technology in London, UK, and holds degrees from top UK academic institutions: Manchester, Lancaster and Warwick universities.
