This award was launched in 2021 to stimulate studies, research, and technological applications in the digital economy.<\/p>

Under the auspices of the Arab Federation for Digital Economy and under the patronage of His Excellency the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, the Arab Federation for Digital Economy is pleased to announce the adoption of an annual award entitled the “Arab Digital Economy Award.” This award recognizes exceptional efforts and pioneering innovations in the field of the digital economy, which effectively contribute to enhancing and developing the technological and digital infrastructure in the Arab world.<\/p>

The Federation issued the Arab Vision for Digital Economy to achieve ambitious goals aligned with the Federation’s role. It seeks to drive progress in various aspects of the digital economy, including knowledge development, infrastructure enhancement, regulatory frameworks, and legislative standards. By promoting digital inclusion plans and sustainable development strategies, the Arab Vision for Digital Economy aims to harness the potential of digital technologies to raise living standards and contribute to the comprehensive advancement of Arab societies. Through initiatives and strategic collaborations, this vision aspires to create a thriving digital ecosystem that benefits individuals and communities across the Arab world. The vision was adopted by Arab leaders at the 2022 Arab Summit in Algeria.<\/p>

First Session 2024<\/p>

The honorees of the 2024 Arab Digital Economy Award are:<\/p>
