Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University.<\/p>\n<p>The study shows that treating and combating drug addiction requires a comprehensive approach and concerted efforts from all sectors of society, as policy makers should prioritize public health and prevention strategies, as well as ensure the availability of integrated treatment services.<\/p>\n<p>The study also included data, current trends, and a set of recommendations that call for redrawing a road map for future endeavors in this ongoing battle, stressing the importance of policy makers following a systematic mindset based on innovation in formulating plans directed to achieving the desired goals, protecting the future of the region and achieving sustainable growth in societies.
