{"id":29037,"date":"2026-09-24T13:39:39","date_gmt":"2026-09-24T10:39:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arab-digital-economy.org\/?p=29037"},"modified":"2026-09-28T13:41:22","modified_gmt":"2026-09-28T10:41:22","slug":"arab-chinese-partnership-in-the-arab-food-hub-digital-food-trade-platform","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arab-digital-economy.org\/?p=29037&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Arab-Chinese partnership in the &#8220;Arab Food Hub&#8221; digital food trade platform"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"s-ct\">\n<div class=\"s-ct-wrap has-lsl\">\n<div class=\"s-ct-inner\">\n<div class=\"l-shared-sec-outer show-mobile\">\n<div class=\"l-shared-sec\">\n<div class=\"l-shared-items effect-fadeout is-color\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"e-ct-outer\">\n<div class=\"entry-content rbct clearfix\">\n<p><strong><span dir=\"auto\">Hangzhou \u2013 China<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span dir=\"auto\">The first China-Arab Digital Dialogue<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0, organized by the Arab Federation for Digital Economy in Hangzhou as part of the\u00a0<\/span><strong><span dir=\"auto\">GDTE 2026<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0World Digital Trade Fair, witnessed\u00a0the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Federation and\u00a0<\/span><strong><span dir=\"auto\">Jinpin (Tianjin) Management Consulting<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0Company , to cooperate in developing the business of the (\u00a0<\/span><strong><span dir=\"auto\">Arab Food Hub<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0) platform and opening new channels for cross-border food trade between Arab and Chinese markets.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">The memorandum was signed on behalf of the Arab Federation for Digital Economy\u00a0<\/span><strong><span dir=\"auto\">by Dr. Mohammed Al-Qurash, a member of the Federation\u2019s Board of Directors<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0, and on behalf of the Chinese side by Mr. (\u00a0<\/span><strong><span dir=\"auto\">Wan Xiaowen<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0)\u00a0<\/span><strong><span dir=\"auto\">, representative of the\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><strong><span dir=\"auto\">(\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><strong><span dir=\"auto\">Jinpin\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><strong><span dir=\"auto\">)<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0Foundation , in the presence of representatives from the League of Arab States, the Federation and the Federation\u2019s office in China.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-29034 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/arab-digital-economy.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Picture54.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1379px) 100vw, 1379px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/arab-digital-economy.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Picture54.jpg 1379w, https:\/\/arab-digital-economy.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Picture54-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/arab-digital-economy.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Picture54-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/arab-digital-economy.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Picture54-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/arab-digital-economy.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Picture54-330x220.jpg 330w, https:\/\/arab-digital-economy.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Picture54-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/arab-digital-economy.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Picture54-615x410.jpg 615w, https:\/\/arab-digital-economy.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Picture54-860x573.jpg 860w\" alt=\"\" width=\"1379\" height=\"919\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">The agreement comes within the framework of developing the (\u00a0<\/span><strong><span dir=\"auto\">Arab Food Hub<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0) platform as a digital platform specializing in supporting food trade and linking companies, suppliers, buyers and related service providers within a digital environment that contributes to facilitating and increasing the efficiency of cross-border trade operations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">The cooperation with the Chinese side aims to benefit from the expertise and business networks available in China to support the access of companies and food products to markets, and to explore trade opportunities between Arab and Chinese companies, in addition to employing e-commerce and digital tools to\u00a0<\/span><strong><span dir=\"auto\">facilitate the link between supply and demand and to transform trade opportunities into actual transactions that can be implemented<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">The Chinese market is of particular importance to the platform as one of the world&#8217;s largest markets for food trade and consumption, while the Arab region represents a vast and diverse market heavily reliant on international trade to meet its food needs. This collaboration opens avenues for developing two-way trade, both by facilitating access for Arab products and suppliers to the Chinese market and by connecting Arab companies with suitable sources, products, and business opportunities in China.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"\" dir=\"auto\">The Union\u2019s vision for the (\u00a0<\/span><\/span><strong><span dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"\" dir=\"auto\">Arab Food Hub<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"\" dir=\"auto\">\u00a0) platform is not limited to providing an electronic marketplace for displaying products, but rather aims to build a digital system that helps to address a number of elements of actual trade, including\u00a0<\/span><\/span><strong><span dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"\" dir=\"auto\">verification of trading parties, logistics, inspection, insurance, customs, and payment and settlement mechanisms<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"\" dir=\"auto\">\u00a0, in order to support trust between the seller and the buyer and reduce the complexities associated with cross-border food trade.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">The collaboration with Jinpin also represents an opportunity to test and develop\u00a0<\/span><strong><span dir=\"auto\">a Chinese-Arab trade route<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0within the platform, and to leverage Chinese corporate networks and trade relationships to reach suppliers and buyers and identify products and sectors that can provide practical opportunities for trade exchange.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">The project is also linked to one of the strategic challenges of the Arab region, which is\u00a0<\/span><strong><span dir=\"auto\">food security<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0;
