The Arab Federation for the Digital Economy, a member of the Executive Office of the Forum of Specific and Specialized Arab Federations at the League of Arab States, held a coordination meeting with the Arab Tourism Organization at the League of Arab States, to discuss ways of cooperation in achieving the goals of digital transformation in the tourism sector in the Arab region.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Minister Sherif Fathi Attia, Secretary-General of the Arab Tourism Organization, His Excellency Ambassador Mohamed Khair Abdel Qader, Secretary-General of the Arab Federation for the Digital Economy, and Dr. Ayman Mukhtar Ghoneim, Secretary General of the Arab Federation for the Digital Economy, and representatives of both sides.

The meeting discussed the preparation of a project to digitize tourism destinations in the Arab region, which serves the common aspirations towards enhancing tourism as an engine for economic development.
