The Arab Federation for the Digital Economy concluded a memorandum of understanding with the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, the Arab Organization for Information and Communication Technologies , the Arab Federation for the Internet and Communications, and the Union of Arab Scientific Research Councils at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in Cairo.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the Arab Federation for the Digital Economy by His Excellency Ambassador Mohamed Khair Abdel Qader, Secretary-General of the Federation. The Arab Organization for Communication and Information Technology, the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, the Arab Federation, the Arab Federation for Internet and Communication, and the Union of Arab Scientific Research Councils also signed the agreement.
This project is the first of its kind in the Arab region in terms of unifying the efforts of the specialized bodies that established it. It aims to develop the capabilities of Arab youth, motivate them to be creative and innovative, and provide the necessary technological, cognitive and financial support to finance these ideas and initiatives into real projects and marketable commercial products in the Arab countries that are members of the League of Nations. Arabic, and contribute to transforming the ICT sector in the Arab region from a consumer sector to a productive sector.
