In general, the energy crisis in Egypt requires coordinated efforts between government agencies and the private sector to implement strategic measures to enhance energy production and use efficiency. Stimulating private investments in the energy sector by providing encouraging incentives and legislation, and facilitating regulatory and financial procedures for renewable energy projects can contribute to improving energy systems in Egypt. The expansion of technological applications to improve and increase the efficiency of energy use in various sectors, including the use of smart energy management systems, improving the efficiency of electrical appliances and buildings, and adopting energy demand management practices can contribute to stabilizing the electrical network and reducing overloads.

Taking into account the overall population density, citizen participation is a pivotal element for the success of government strategies. Here the importance of intensifying public awareness campaigns and educational workshops aimed at promoting energy efficiency practices in homes, such as using energy-saving appliances and turning off unnecessary lights, is highlighted. The community can also be involved in renewable energy projects and local initiatives such as recycling programs, encouraging sustainable means of transportation, urban agriculture projects, neighborhood cleaning campaigns, and water conservation projects, in addition to investment opportunities in financing solar and wind energy facilities. It is also necessary to adapt existing emergency procedures, such as using alternative lighting sources during power outages, which can help mitigate direct impacts on daily life.

In light of the increasing challenges and rapid changes in the global energy sector, the question remains: Can Egypt become a model for overcoming the energy crisis and achieving a balance between economic growth and environmental sustainability? There is no doubt that the effectiveness of national plans and the ability to innovate will remain crucial factors in determining the country’s energy future. This crisis is not just a challenge, but rather an opportunity to rethink how to manage resources and achieve sustainable development that guarantees future generations a safe and sustainable future.
