He also added that the “automatic speaker” technology has spread in call centers around the world, and has caused a reduction in annual costs by more than 60%.

He pointed out that 70% of parcels in China pass through Alibaba’s “Kenny Yao” system at a rate of 42 million shipments per day, and parcels are delivered within 24 hours within China and three days anywhere in the world.

He added that artificial intelligence contributed to raising the efficiency of shipping companies by 30%, and this was reflected in customer satisfaction, noting that China believes that artificial intelligence will be a major driver for the growth of the Chinese economy during the next 10 years, by raising the efficiency of operations and reducing costs. to zero in some operations.

Al-Khouri stressed that e-commerce by 2035 will witness, thanks to artificial intelligence, 25% of human jobs to be transformed into robots in the business services sector, and that the artificial intelligence market will reach $36 billion by 2025, and Arab stores must prepare so that they do not find itself in isolation, and out of competition.

At the conclusion of his speech, Al-Khouri presented some of the main recommendations, which included the importance of the private sector investing in artificial intelligence, and the development of plans that serve the agendas of the national Arab economies, with the need for governments and the private sector to study the impact of the capabilities of artificial intelligence more deeply, and that in parallel with all that, Arab governments must work to find legislative controls regulating the work of artificial intelligence, because this field has significant and profound effects on the growth of national economies.
