The Arab Federation for the Digital Economy held a remote meeting via video call with the Saudi Agricultural Investment and Animal Production Company “SALIC” in the presence of representatives from both sides. During the meeting, all introductory aspects of the Arab Food Market project were reviewed.

SALIC also expressed its interest in the project because of its benefit in how to use technology and innovation to display the products of exporters and importers on the platform, with the aim of achieving digital transformation, promoting sustainable development, enhancing digital integration and providing great economic and development opportunities in the Arab region, as well as its invitation to a number of companies working in the field of trade. Food has to register at this stage and be among the leading companies and participate in commercial transactions in the trial operation stage.
