The Arab Federation for the Digital Economy, one of the specialized Arab federations supervised by His Excellency the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, announced the appointment of Engineer Mahmoud Al-Bastaki as “General Supervisor” of the Arab Food Market Project in the Union.

It is noteworthy that Engineer Mahmoud Al Bastaki is the Executive Director of Operations – Digital Trade Solutions – DP World, and served as CEO of the Dubai Trade Corporation, Director of Electronic Services at Dubai e-Government, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Chartered Institute for Logistics and Transport.

Engineer Mahmoud Al Bastaki holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering in 1999 from the Oregon Institute of Science and Technology, and a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering in 1993 from the University of Arkansas in the United States of America. He is a graduate of both the Mohammed bin Rashid Program for Leadership Preparation and the Dubai World Leaders Program.
