The Lord praised the United Arab Emirates, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, which has become a model of stability and peace, and a center for global investment and innovation under the wise leadership
He also highlighted the importance of collaborative research, and the potential of gathering financial resources and knowledge, to transform great challenges into real opportunities for growth and prosperity, and praised the leadership of the United Arab Emirates in promoting Arab cooperation, especially through the Arab Vision for the Digital Economy initiative, which seeks to develop economic and social structures in Arab region.
The Lord, who heads the Digital Policy Alliance in the United Kingdom, touched on the transformative potential of generative artificial intelligence and big data in reshaping research and development, praising the initiative of the Arab Federation for the Digital Economy to establish the “Hekma” Center for Scientific Research, and stressing that partnerships between global entities such as the British Institute Technology and regional leaders like the UAE will be pivotal in harnessing the power of technology and innovation.
