2018: Cooperation with Cairo University in preparing the Arab vision for the digital economy

The Council of Arab Economic Unity of the League of Arab States signed an agreement with Cairo University to develop a common Arab vision for the digital economy with the support of the United Arab Emirates, in which international and Arab institutions and organizations and a group of senior global officials and specialists in the field of digital economy participate.

The agreement was signed by His Excellency Ambassador Muhammad Muhammad Al-Rabie, Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Economic Unity in the League of Arab States and President of Cairo University, Dr. Muhammad Othman Al-Khasht, during a ceremony held at the headquarters of Cairo University in the prestigious Grand Celebration Hall, which witnessed many important historical events in the Arab world and the Arab Republic of Egypt, in the presence of Lviv Ministers and officials from Arab countries.

His Excellency Ambassador Muhammad Muhammad Al-Rabee confirmed that this agreement, which is supervised by the Arab Federation for Digital Economy, represents a realistic application and a practical start for the introduction of many future initiatives and projects to support Arab economies.

Al-Rabie made it clear that this project, which comes as one of the most important recommendations of the Digital Economy Conference that was held recently in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, aims to develop and develop the digital economy in the Arab world.
