Ambassador Mohammed Khair: The data economy has an important role in strengthening Arab economic systems

The Arab Federation for the Digital Economy participated in the meeting with a high-level delegation headed by Ambassador Mohammed Khair Abdel Qader, Secretary-General of the Federation, who spoke at the opening session of the 59th regular meeting of specialized Arab federations operating under the scope of the Council of  Arab Economic  Unity , headed by Ambassador Mohamdy Ahmed Neya.

Ambassador Mohammed Khair stressed the importance of the role required of  the Arab federations  within the framework of the joint Arab action system in the next stage.

The Secretary-General of the Arab Federation for  the Digital Economy  presented a working paper entitled (The Data Economy and its Role in Strengthening  Arab Economic  Systems ), explaining the challenges facing the data economy in the Arab world… and within the framework of the tasks and competencies of the Arab Federation for the Digital Economy.

He pointed to the Arab vision for  the digital economy  prepared by the Federation and welcomed by the Arab Summit in Algiers, November 2022, as a reference and regulatory framework for digital transformation in the economies of Arab countries. He pointed to the most important projects of this vision, including the Arab Digital Food Market Initiative, and extended an invitation to the companies concerned and working within the framework of  the Arab Federation’s  to register in The digital Arab food platform, which aims to achieve food security in the Arab region.
