The Arab Federation for Digital Economy and Al-Jalala University in the Arab Republic of Egypt signed a strategic cooperation agreement aimed at developing academic and training programs in the fields of digital economy and modern technologies, and contributing to achieving the goals of the Arab Vision for the Digital Economy sponsored by the United Arab Emirates.
The agreement was signed by His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al Darmaki, Deputy Secretary-General of the Arab Federation for Digital Economy, and Dr. Nagwa Samak, Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences at Al-Jalala University, during the Seamless Middle East 2025 Conference and Exhibition in Dubai.
This agreement aims to implement joint academic programs and initiatives between the two parties, including applied scientific research, vocational training, and the preparation of specialized personnel in the fields of artificial intelligence, big data analysis, and digital entrepreneurship. It also includes developing educational curricula to meet the needs of the labor market in the Arab region.
His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al Darmaki emphasized that this agreement falls within the framework of the Union’s efforts to connect academic institutions with digital development programs in the Arab world and to leverage the academic expertise of Galala University to prepare qualified human resources capable of keeping pace with global changes in the digital economy.
For her part, Dr. Nagwa Samak expressed Galala University’s aspiration for this partnership to be a starting point for exchanging expertise and developing innovative educational programs that meet the needs of digital development in Egypt and the Arab region. She emphasized the university’s commitment to preparing a generation of young people with the digital knowledge and skills necessary to lead the economic future.
