The Arab Federation for Digital Economy announced the launch of the “Future Business Leaders” Program, an ambitious initiative aimed at preparing and qualifying a new generation of business leaders capable of leading digital transformation and promoting economic and social development in the Arab world. This initiative is being implemented in partnership with Cairo University and with the support of the Association of Arab Universities.
The program targets Arab university students, providing them with a unique opportunity to acquire advanced knowledge and practical skills in the fields of digital transformation and business management. It also focuses on providing participants with the latest tools and technologies that enable them to achieve leadership and innovation in various economic sectors.
The program, offered by Cairo University and sponsored by the Arab Federation for Digital Economy, is an integrated educational platform comprising seven semesters with a total of 40 educational hours. The program addresses several key themes carefully designed to meet the needs of entrepreneurs in the Arab region, including:
Business Basics: Understanding market concepts and business management.
Leadership Qualities and Capabilities: Developing the leadership and personal skills necessary for success.
Small Businesses and How to Build Them: Strategies for Establishing and Developing Small Businesses.
Generating Innovative Ideas and Feasibility Studies: Training participants in creative thinking and analyzing the economic feasibility of new ideas.
Strategic Planning and Business Plan Preparation: Learning planning techniques and developing effective business plans.
Establishing and Preparing a Project for Operation: Practical preparation for launching projects.
Professional Project Management: Techniques for managing operations and achieving sustainable success.
For his part, His Excellency Professor Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadek, President of Cairo University, stated: “We are pleased to offer this program through Cairo University, one of the most prestigious educational institutions in the Arab world, as we believe that investing in youth is the key to progress. The program aims to provide students with practical knowledge and entrepreneurial skills, helping them transform their ideas into successful projects that contribute to the growth of the local and regional economy.”
He emphasized that the Future Business Leaders program reflects Cairo University’s vision of promoting innovation and entrepreneurship as key drivers of development. He added: “We are proud of our partnership with the Arab Federation for Digital Economy in this initiative, which we see as a real opportunity to unleash the energies of youth and realize their aspirations in the business world.”
In this context, His Excellency Dr. Ali Mohammed Al Khouri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Federation for Digital Economy, emphasized the importance of the program, saying, “The ‘Future Business Leaders’ program represents one of the steps toward empowering Arab youth and preparing them to enter the digital labor market with a competitive and creative spirit, and building a promising future for the Arab region. Through this initiative, we aim to prepare a new generation of leaders capable of facing the challenges of the digital age and contributing to the development of the Arab economy with modern skills and innovative visions. These leaders will become future leaders who drive positive change in their countries’ economies.”
“This program stems from the Federation’s vision to enhance the pioneering role of Arab youth in supporting the digital economy and sustainable development. Through this program, we aim to build a network of qualified entrepreneurs to transform ideas into tangible projects that serve the goals of sustainable development in the Arab world.” He added, “We look forward to this program becoming a model for cooperation between higher education institutions and economic organizations to support the vision of the Arab digital economy.”
For his part, Professor Moataz Sayed Abdullah, the program coordinator, emphasized the importance of the educational content provided by Cairo University: “The program has been carefully designed to include key themes such as business fundamentals, generating innovative ideas, and strategic planning. We aim to provide participants with the skills necessary to build sustainable projects and manage them professionally, enhancing their role in achieving economic and social development.”
