The Arab Federation for Digital Economy signed a memorandum of understanding with the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, the Arab Organization for Information and Communication Technologies, the Arab Union for Internet and Communications, and the Federation of Arab Scientific Research Councils at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in Cairo.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the Arab Federation for Digital Economy by His Excellency Ambassador Mohamed Khair Abdel Qader, Secretary-General of the Federation. The Arab Organization for Information and Communication Technology, the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, the Arab Federation, the Arab Union for Internet and Communications, and the Federation of Arab Scientific Research Councils also signed.

This project is the first of its kind in the Arab region, unifying the efforts of the specialized entities that founded it. It aims to develop the capabilities of Arab youth, encourage them to innovate and create, and provide the necessary technological, cognitive, and financial support to finance these ideas and initiatives into real projects and marketable commercial products in the Arab League member states. It also aims to contribute to transforming the ICT sector in the Arab region from a consumer sector to a productive one.
