GITEX Global 2025, the world’s largest technology and artificial intelligence event, kicked off on Monday at the Dubai World Trade Centre, with more than 6,800 exhibitors from 180 countries participating in an exceptional edition highlighting the global shift towards comprehensive artificial intelligence, computing and data integration, and digital governance, and will continue until October 17.

The Arab Federation for Digital Economy is participating with a high-level delegation in the exhibition, as part of the broad participation of government agencies, international institutions and major technology companies, within the framework of its efforts to support cooperation in the fields of digital economy and artificial intelligence, and to review the Federation’s initiatives and programs aimed at supporting digital transformation and sustainable development in the Arab world.

GITEX Global 2025 will feature the largest AI program in its history this year, with a select group of the world’s leading figures in the field, including Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, and Peng Xiao, CEO of G42, participating in a keynote session entitled: “From Early Adoption to Native Communities in AI: Envisioning the New Era of Intelligence.”

The event will also host a series of global summits addressing topics such as the geopolitics of artificial intelligence, investment, quantum computing, cybersecurity, and digital governance, with the participation of ministers, decision-makers, and global experts.
