The Arab Federation for Digital Economy is participating in the 44th Sharjah International Book Fair 2025

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, inaugurated this morning, Wednesday, November 5, 2025, in the presence of Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Book Authority, the activities of the 44th Sharjah International Book Fair, which is being held from November 5 to 16, 2025 at the Sharjah Expo Centre.

The Arab Federation for Digital Economy is participating in the 44th Sharjah International Book Fair with a diverse range of its latest publications that address topics such as the digital economy, technological transformation, and innovation-based education, in addition to specialized works on artificial intelligence and its applications in development.

This participation reflects the Union’s ongoing commitment to supporting the dissemination of digital culture in Arabic and the production of knowledge that contributes to building societal and institutional awareness of digital transformation and sustainable development issues in the Arab world. It also aligns with the Union’s vision of empowering Arab societies with the tools of the digital age and solidifying the status of Arabic as a language of science and knowledge in the fields of technology and innovation.

 

This participation is part of the Union’s efforts to strengthen its presence at major cultural and scientific events and to engage with various stakeholders in the fields of thought, research, and creativity, thereby contributing to the wider dissemination of digital economy concepts and their modern applications. Through its participation in this international cultural event, the Union also aims to build sustainable bridges of cooperation with publishing houses and academic and research institutions, explore partnership opportunities in authorship, translation, and digital publishing, and exchange expertise on the future of knowledge in light of the global digital transformation.

The Union’s participation in this exhibition also confirms its keenness to be an active part of the Arab cultural scene, by presenting its scientific and intellectual output to a wide audience of researchers, students and decision-makers, and contributing to enriching the dialogue on the importance of the digital economy as a pillar of comprehensive development in the Arab world.

The exhibition offers a wide selection of books and more than 400 cultural and creative events with the participation of about 2,350 publishing houses, including 1,224 Arab publishing houses and 1,126 foreign publishing houses, offering millions of books and publications in various languages ​​of the world, with the participation of 250 writers and creators from 66 Arab and foreign countries.

Today, the Sharjah International Book Fair is considered one of the largest book fairs in the world, the most prominent event in the field of Arab culture, and a platform for hosting the most important literary events in the region.
