The Arab Federation for Digital Economy is participating as a community partner in the comprehensive artificial intelligence summit for the Middle East and Africa region in Egypt 2026, scheduled to be held in Cairo from February 11 to 12, 2026, organized by GITEX Global and hosted by the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in partnership with ITIDA .
The Union’s participation in the event is part of its community efforts to raise awareness of artificial intelligence and the importance of digital transformation in the Arab region. This is achieved through initiatives aimed at supporting the digital economy, disseminating digital knowledge, and facilitating communication among stakeholders in the digital sector. The Union also focuses on highlighting innovation and digital projects that deliver societal value and support digital sustainability in the region, as well as fostering collaboration between startups, investors, and government entities, thereby contributing to driving innovation and economic growth.

The event comes as part of accelerating the implementation of the National Artificial Intelligence Strategy 2025–2030 , which is expected to contribute to raising the GDP by about $42.7 billion, supported by an unprecedented increase in foreign investments and strong growth of the startup ecosystem in Egypt.
