The Arab Federation for Digital Economy discussed with Terrapinn Middle East the organizational arrangements for the Seamless Middle East 2026 conference, within the framework of supporting strategic partnerships and advancing digital transformation paths in the region.

This came during a meeting held in Abu Dhabi, attended by His Excellency Dr. Ali Mohammed Al Khouri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federation, Dr. Ayman Mukhtar Ghoneim, Assistant Secretary-General, along with Mr. Joseph Radley, the company’s representative, where the two sides discussed the latest preparations for the conference, which is one of the most prominent regional platforms specializing in financial technology and digital trade.

During the meeting, it was agreed to reschedule the conference to take place from September 22 to 24, 2026, in line with the expected expansion in the size of international participation, and to allow for a wider variety of accompanying events, in light of the accelerating adoption of digital solutions and technological innovations at the global level.

The two sides reviewed the conference themes, which include financial technology, digital payment systems, e-commerce, and digital transformation solutions, in addition to highlighting the latest applications in the fields of artificial intelligence, big data analytics, and cybersecurity technologies, reflecting the rapid transformations in the global digital economy.

The meeting also discussed a joint initiative to organize a new international conference specializing in applied technology, focusing on transforming digital strategies into practical implementation models. The proposed event aims to bridge a market gap by providing a platform that brings together decision-makers in the government sector with global technology solution providers, thereby accelerating the adoption of innovation and improving the quality of government services.

The proposal also includes integrating the “Arab Digital Economy Forum” into the conference activities, which supports regional integration and the exchange of experiences among the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and contributes to building an advanced digital system based on cross-border partnerships.

His Excellency Dr. Ali Mohammed Al Khouri stressed the importance of this cooperation in supporting government innovation and advanced technology trends at the regional and international levels, noting that the next phase will witness an intensification of joint efforts to increase the economic and knowledge impact of the conference, and to consolidate its role as an international platform that contributes to shaping the features of the future of the digital economy.

This meeting comes within the framework of the Federation’s strategic directions to support major international events and consolidate its presence as a key partner in developing the technology system and digital transformation in the region.
