Amman — In a step reflecting the Kingdom’s accelerating shift toward comprehensive digital transformation, the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship and the King Hussein Business Park signed a memorandum of understanding on Tuesday aimed at developing the business and digital entrepreneurship ecosystem. This will be achieved by expanding the King Hussein Business Park Virtual Campus, the first integrated smart platform of its kind in Jordan and the region based on metaverse technologies.
A Leading Digital Platform with Global Standards
The virtual campus represents a qualitative leap in the concept of business environments. It provides a comprehensive virtual platform built on the latest virtual reality and artificial intelligence technologies, enabling companies and entrepreneurs to manage their businesses from anywhere without geographical constraints.
The platform also allows access to supporting government and digital services within a unified digital environment.
The memorandum aims to expand cooperation to strengthen support for local, regional, and international companies of all sizes, particularly startups and entrepreneurial ventures, through:
- Providing specialized virtual office spaces.

The memorandum was signed by:

- Ammar Ezzeddine, Chief Executive Officer of King Hussein Business Park.
- Bashir Hannawi, Founder and CEO of Hydra, the park’s technical partner specializing in software development and virtual reality technologies.
Smeirat stated on the occasion:
“The King Hussein Business Park Virtual Campus represents an advanced model of an integrated digital business environment. Through this partnership, companies and entrepreneurs will be able to benefit from government services and digital tools within a single platform, supporting startup growth and strengthening innovation.”
Ezzeddine added:
“The virtual campus represents an innovative model of a smart digital business city characterized by simplified procedures. It helps attract local, regional, and international companies while supporting innovation and enabling businesses to be established and operated without geographical limitations.”
