Former member of the Egyptian Parliament, a board member of the National Council of Women (NCW), a board member of the Financial Regulatory Authority. She is the chair of the Scientific Research, Technologiy and Cybersecurity Committee and a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee at NCW. She is also a member of the National Committee of Governanc. Before joining the parliament, she was appointed as the Advisor to the Minister of Communication and Information Technology for Strategic Initiatives. She is a Professor at the National Telecommunication Institute, and a Professor at Nile University.
