Participants in the First Arab Digital Economy Conference launched a joint Arab vision for the digital economy, aiming to inject more investment into this vital sector.
The conference, which kicked off Sunday in Abu Dhabi and is organized by the Council of Arab Economic Unity, will review issues of artificial intelligence and technology, digital transformation plans, cities of the future, financial transparency, and innovation in healthcare technology.
The joint vision for the digital economy aims to activate and enhance joint Arab cooperation based on digital knowledge, develop technological and legislative infrastructure, and support digital transformation plans and technological development in Arab countries.
The two-day conference aims to establish and establish a collaborative digital economy that can help Arab societies meet challenges.
On its first day, the conference addressed new sections for the education and labor sectors in the light of artificial intelligence, reviewing lifestyles in the digital society and smart cities.
The recommendations of the First Arab Digital Economy Conference are planned to be presented to Arab leaders after the conclusion of its second day at the Arab Summit scheduled to be held in Tunisia in March 2019.
