Among the Most Influential Figures in Digital Governance

The Apologetics Research Foundation has ranked Dr. Eng. Ali Mohammed Al Khouri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Federation for Digital Economy, among the 100 most influential figures in digital governance worldwide.
Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, extended his warmest congratulations to Dr. Eng. Ali Mohammed Al Khouri on this selection, affirming that he is a world-class Emirati talent. His Highness tweeted: “I congratulate my brother Dr. Ali Khouri, a son of the Emirates, on being selected among the list of 100 international figures who have contributed to the development of digital government applications worldwide… a world-class Emirati talent.”
The foundation noted that Al Khouri previously held the position of Director General of the Emirates Identity Authority, in which he worked to establish a culture of innovation and high employee efficiency. It noted that he successfully implemented government strategies to register the country’s population and establish an effective infrastructure for identity management, which supports the direction of digital governance and the digital economy. She added that the Emirates Identity Authority has won numerous government awards during his tenure, including the United Nations Public Sector Award. Al Khouri was also ranked among the most influential figures in digital identity over the past 10 years by the 10th International World Identity Conference.
