As part of efforts to enrich cooperation and exchange expertise with international bodies that contribute to developing a common Arab vision for the digital economy, Dr. Ali Mohammed Al Khouri, Advisor to the Council of Arab Economic Unity and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Federation for Digital Economy, visited the headquarters of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in the United Arab Emirates.
Dr. Al Khouri discussed with His Excellency Ambassador Frode Mauring, United Nations Resident Coordinator, mechanisms for cooperation in the field of the digital economy in the Arab region, opportunities for exchanging global expertise and best practices with Arab counterparts in the field of sustainable development, and sharing success stories and best practices. The United Nations Development Programme works in collaboration with government institutions, the private sector, academia, and civil society organizations to be a partner in providing quality sustainable development services.
