The Arab Federation for Digital Economy participates in a workshop (Webinar) on the Arab platform for education and training

In a move to promote digital education in the region, the Arab Federation for Digital Economy participated in a webinar organized by the Association of Arab Universities online on the “Arab Platform for Education and Training.”

The workshop was chaired by His Excellency Prof. Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary General of the Association of Arab Universities, in the presence of Dr. Moataz Abdullah from Cairo University, along with the technology partner “Intilaka Company” and with the participation of more than 100 universities that are members of the Association of Arab Universities.

His Excellency Amr Ezzat stressed the importance of digital education in light of global challenges, noting that the platform is a strategic tool for developing education in the Arab world, as it contributes to enhancing interaction between universities and students and preparing a qualified generation for the future labor market.

During the event, Dr. Ayman Mokhtar Ghoneim, Assistant Secretary-General, gave a presentation explaining the platform’s features and its role in improving the quality of education and training, noting that it represents a qualitative shift in digital education in the region. He also stressed that the use of the latest technologies in the platform ensures the provision of renewed and effective content that supports innovation and expands the horizons of educational development.

He added that this initiative represents a qualitative shift in the education and training system in the region, as the platform will contribute to enhancing innovation and providing integrated educational opportunities that contribute to developing students’ skills and qualifying them for the labor market, making it a fundamental pillar for achieving comprehensive development. He concluded his speech by urging Arab youth to register for the “Future Business Leaders” program and its role in preparing future cadres.

For his part, Prof. Dr. Moataz Abdullah reviewed Cairo University’s experience with this initiative and stressed the need to enhance cooperation between universities to integrate efforts in providing innovative digital educational programs. Dr. Moataz explained that the platform provides renewed interactive content that contributes to raising the level of education and training and developing students’ skills in line with the requirements of the era.

For his part, Mr. Ahmed Ashour provided an explanation of the technical advantages of the platform, indicating how it allows universities to easily add their educational programs. He also explained that the use of modern technologies, especially artificial intelligence, ensures the provision of renewed and effective educational content, opens new horizons for digital education, and enhances integration between educational institutions and technological partners.

The workshop aimed to expand the horizons of cooperation between universities and technical partners to serve the development of education and training in the Arab world. The Arab Platform for Education and Training (edu4arab.org) is a pioneering Arab initiative that aims to enhance the quality of education in the Arab world by integrating universities, educational institutions and technical partners to provide integrated educational programs that include training courses, workshops and interactive programs.
