Technical Committees
The Arab Federation for Digital Economy operates two main types of committees that serve as both executive and advisory instruments within its institutional framework:

1. Internal Committees

These committees form part of the Federation’s administrative and organizational structure. They are responsible for coordinating internal policies and day-to-day procedures within the General Secretariat, as well as overseeing the internal execution of programs and initiatives. They play a central role in ensuring institutional coherence, streamlining operations, and maintaining alignment with approved regulatory frameworks.

2. Joint Arab and International Committees

Formed in collaboration with Arab governments, official institutions, and regional and international organizations, these committees fulfill both technical and strategic functions in the development of major initiatives and projects. Their mandate includes formulating joint frameworks, policy papers, and actionable implementation models tailored to national contexts.

This category of committees includes:

  • Specialized Task Forces, established to deliver specific projects within clearly defined timeframes.
  • Coordination Committees, working directly with government entities and public institutions across Arab and international contexts.
  • Joint Expert Platforms, which facilitate the exchange of knowledge and technical expertise across various digital sectors.

These committees serve as a foundational pillar of the Federation’s efforts to build Arab consensus at the technical level and to develop shared practices that advance digitally enabled environments across the region.
