The Council of Arab Economic Unity meets with Cairo University to follow up on the study of the common vision of the digital economy

The Council of Arab Economic Unity held a meeting with representatives of Cairo University and the French consulting firm EFESO in Cairo to follow up on the development of a common Arab vision for the digital economy.

The agreement stipulates that Cairo University and the French firm will prepare a vision for the Arab digital economy strategy.

The Council of Arab Economic Unity will study and review the strategy with the participation of international and Arab institutions and organizations, as well as a group of senior global officials and specialists. These institutions include the United Nations, the World Bank, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, and other institutions working in the field of the digital economy.

The Arab Federation for Digital Economy, affiliated with the Council of Arab Economic Unity and the League of Arab States, is overseeing the agreement, which aims to develop and grow the digital economy in the Arab world and support economic stability and enhance joint Arab action.
