The world’s largest call center company, Teleperformance, has decided to use artificial intelligence to eliminate the Indian accent in English, aiming to gain greater trust and improve the communication experience with Western customers.
The company has 90,000 employees in India, handling calls from around the world and providing services to companies such as Google and Apple.
However, it is struggling with the problem of Indian employees’ pronunciation of English, which makes it difficult for callers to speak it.
