His Excellency Dr. Ali Mohammed Al-Khouri, President of the Arab Federation for Digital Economy, discussed with Mr. Wu Fei, founder and chairman of DaoDe Investment, prospects for cooperation in developing financing mechanisms that support digital economy projects, with a focus on robotics and smart manufacturing technologies.
The meeting was part of His Excellency’s visit to the People’s Republic of China, which aims to expand the Federation’s international partnership network and attract expertise and investments that support digital economy projects in the Arab region.
The Chinese side reviewed its experience in managing cross-border investments, leveraging its institutional presence in China, Hong Kong and Dubai, and existing investment partnerships that link Chinese industrial and technological capabilities with opportunities in Middle Eastern markets.

The meeting addressed mechanisms to support the robotics project that the Arab Federation for Digital Economy is developing, in addition to discussing the establishment of an investment fund specializing in the robotics sector, focusing on supporting research and development, localizing technologies, and investing in companies operating within the value chain of this sector.
The two sides also discussed the importance of building sustainable financing models that contribute to accelerating the implementation of technology projects, attracting quality investments, and expanding the scope of robotics and smart manufacturing applications in the Arab region, in line with the rapid transformations in the digital economy.
The two parties agreed to coordinate to complete the necessary studies, explore mechanisms for institutional and investment cooperation, and develop implementation plans for joint initiatives.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Tang, Head of the Sub-Offices of the Arab Federation for Digital Economy in the People’s Republic of China, and Mr. Jet, Executive Director of the Federation’s offices in China, along with a number of representatives from both sides.
