The Arab Federation for Digital Economy participated in the “ AIM Global Foundation – China Talks 2026 ” conference , held in Shenzhen, People’s Republic of China, with the attendance and participation of a select group of business leaders, investors, and representatives of major global technology companies and government agencies.

The Federation was represented at this conference by Mr. Tang Tang, Head of the Arab Federation for Digital Economy Office in China, where the participation focused on highlighting promising investment opportunities in the Arab region, and reviewing channels of joint cooperation between Arab and Asian economic and technological institutions.

The conference featured extensive discussions on integrating emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and smart solutions into productive sectors, as well as exploring ways to create a flexible, cross-border investment environment that supports digital infrastructure projects and the data economy. The sessions also included presentations on the experiences of leading Chinese companies and their ability to provide innovative solutions that meet the requirements of sustainable development in emerging markets.

The Federation’s participation through its regional office in China comes in line with its strategic plans to expand its network of international partnerships and strengthen cooperation with leading global entities in the fields of innovation and knowledge, and in support of the objectives of the “Joint Arab Vision for the Digital Economy” which aims to build an integrated and competitive Arab digital economy capable of keeping pace with global transformations.

On the sidelines of the conference, Mr. Tang Tang held a series of bilateral meetings with a number of Chinese investors and company heads to discuss opportunities for knowledge transfer, exchange of experiences, and attracting quality technological investments to the Arab region, stressing the commitment of the Federation’s offices in China to provide the necessary support to build strong and sustainable bridges of technological and economic cooperation between the two sides.
