The Economic Unity Council discusses the implementation of the initiatives of the “Arab Vision for the Digital Economy” with the Ministry of Industry and Trade in the Republic of Yemen

The Council of Arab Economic Unity of the League of Arab States met with the Ministry of Industry and Trade in the Republic of Yemen to discuss enhancing cooperation between them, within the framework of implementing some initiatives emanating from the Arab vision of the digital economy.

The meeting was attended from the Yemeni side by His Excellency Salem Salman Al-Wali, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade in the Republic of Yemen and a number of officials in the ministry, and from the Council of Arab Economic Unity His Excellency Ambassador/ Mohamed Mohamed Al-Rabie, Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Economic Unity, and His Excellency Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al-Khouri, Advisor The Council of Arab Economic Unity, the President of the Arab Federation for the Digital Economy, and a number of officials in the Arab Federation for the Digital Economy.

For his part, His Excellency Salem Salman Al-Wali, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Yemen, said: “We extend our gratitude and thanks to the United Arab Emirates and the Council of Arab Economic Unity for the council’s pioneering role in supporting development initiatives in the Arab region in general, and the Republic of Yemen in particular.”

It is worth noting that the Council of Arab Economic Unity is currently arranging for an international conference, with the aim of introducing a number of projects that support economic and knowledge growth in the field of digital economy in the countries of the Arab region.
