The Arab Union for Digital Economy held a coordination meeting with the Economic Community of West African States – “ECOWAS”, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in implementing a number of initiatives emanating from the study prepared by the Union entitled “The Roadmap for Digital Transformation” in West African countries.

The meeting was attended by a delegation of officials from the Arab Union for the Digital Economy, and a high-level delegation from the Economic Community of West African States – “ECOWAS”.

The meeting discussed the implementation of a number of projects included in the “Arab Vision for the Digital Economy”, which can contribute to raising the rates of economic and social development in West African countries, and to improving the standard of living of citizens in the group’s countries.
