The Arab Federation for the Digital Economy of the Council of Economic Unity of the League of Arab States held a remote meeting via the Internet with the Federation of Arab Universities, to discuss developments related to the Arab Digital League initiative.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Dr. Amr Ezzat Salameh, Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, His Excellency Dr. Ali Mohamed Al-Khouri, Advisor to the Council of Arab Economic Unity and President of the Arab Federation for the Digital Economy, and representatives from both sides.

The meeting included discussing the framework of the digital education platform and the mechanisms for providing specialized educational and training programs for individuals and institutions. It is expected that this ambitious Arab project will be announced soon, which aims to contribute to achieving the goals of sustainable development, by offering educational pathways designed to meet the needs of the labor market, raising the capabilities of university students and graduates and employees in the public and private sectors, and supporting the digital transformation of Arab university and educational institutions.
