His Excellency Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the Arab League, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the UAE for its support of the Arab Digital Economy Vision initiative through the Arab Digital Economy Federation, and for the sponsorship of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE for this initiative. He also thanked the team, His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, for the unlimited support to the Arab Federation for the Digital Economy and the Arab Vision for the Digital Economy initiative.

He added: “Today, by adopting and disseminating the Arab Vision Initiative for the Digital Economy, it will be a clear reference for all Arab governments and institutions to support and enhance their efforts to ensure greater effectiveness.”

By adopting the “Algeria Summit 2022” – which was described as the exceptional summit in terms of future outcomes and goals – this Arab vision, it thus adopted a road map for the Arabs to launch towards leadership in the world of the digital economy, and to enhance and deepen the uses of technology to advance economic and social development and improve opportunities and quality of life in Arab countries, and for this vision to serve as a development tool and a road map for facing national, regional and global economic challenges.
