The Arab Federation for the Digital Economy, a member of the Forum of Specific and Specialized Arab Federations at the League of Arab States, held a coordination meeting with the Department of Economic Integration at the League of Arab States, in the presence of Mr. Ayman Mukhtar Ghoneim, Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab Federation for the Digital Economy, and Dr. Bahjat Abu Al-Nasr, Director of Administration, and representatives of both sides.
Ways of cooperation in preparing the economic studies that the Arab Federation for the Digital Economy issues periodically with the Economic Integration Department of the League of Arab States were discussed.
It is noteworthy that the Arab Federation for the Digital Economy issues the economic performance report in the Arab countries every two years in cooperation with scientific institutions and international organizations. The report aims to provide a comprehensive assessment of the economic situation in the Arab countries through an objective analysis of the main economic indicators in the form of a comparative study with quality of life standards and indicators in accordance with the most important standards approved by the United Nations, the World Bank and the World Trade Organization. The report also highlights the sectoral performance of the economy of Arab countries, at the level of commodity production sectors, productive services sectors, and social services sectors, and focuses on the impact of global factors, crises, and technological developments on Arab economies, in addition to providing recommendations based on accurate analyses.
