The Economic Unity Council discusses ways of cooperation with the UAE Ministry of Artificial Intelligence in the field of the digital economy

The Council of Arab Economic Unity of the League of Arab States met with the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence in the United Arab Emirates  to discuss strengthening cooperation in the field of study prepared by the Arab Federation for Digital Economy entitled “The Arab Vision for the Digital Economy”.

It is worth noting that the United Arab Emirates seeks to enhance the spread of artificial intelligence by evaluating and studying new and supportive regulations and legislation in this field. The city of Abu Dhabi has also hosted – under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. The League of Arab States and the Council of Arab Economic Unity launched a qualitative initiative in December of 2018, under the name “The Arab Vision for the Digital Economy”, aimed at rebuilding and developing the economic systems in the Arab region on sustainable development foundations, taking advantage of the technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
