Under the Auspices of Arab Economic Unity Council Middle East Institute of Excellence honors the winners of Award of Excellence on the sidelines of 2020 Forum

Middle East Institute of Excellence honored the winning organizations and leaders of Award of Excellence 2020. The winners were selected based on the records of their achievements to implement national strategic visions, having significant achievements in their sectors, and their ability to join the race of excellence and to face the basic challenges to build innovation and transformation system that would drive the future after 2020, following the organizational best practices.

H.E. Abdulla Humaid Ali Al-Mazroei, guest of honor of the forum, former Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, and former Minister of Justice in the United Arab Emirates, honored the award winners for the current round, in the presence of a mass of leaders and officials from government and private organizations and the media.

The list of winning organizations and agencies for this year included the following:

  • Ministry of Justice, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Award of Excellence 2020, Arab Ministries Category.
  • American University in Sharjah. Award of Excellence 2020, Education Category.
  • Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN), Sultanate of Oman. Award of Excellence 2020, Travel and Tourism Category.
  • Air Arabia. Award of Excellence 2020, Aviation Category.
  • Sheikh Zayed Housing Program. Award of Excellence 2020, Property Development/Housing Category.
  • King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. Award of Excellence 2020, Education Category.
  • Dubai Electricity and Water Authority. Award of Excellence 2020, Energy Category.
  • Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Award of Excellence 2020, Industry Category.
  • Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA). Award of Excellence 2020, Health Care Category.
  • Bahrain Financial Harbour Holding Company BSC ©, Kingdom of Bahrain. Award of Excellence 2020, Financial Category.
  • Dubai Airports, Award of Excellence 2020, Organizational Infrastructure Development Category.
  • DP World, Award of Excellence 2020, Government & Business Sector Partnership Category.

Also, Middle East Institute of Excellence selected a number of leaders in Ministry of Interior (MOI) in UAE, to be awarded the 20 Executive Leaders awards 2020, within Award of Excellence 2020. The awarding was based on their performance serving their sectors, adopting best practices, and with reference to the review and recommendation of the global panel of judges. And the awarded are:

  • H.E. Brigadier General Hussain Ahmed Al Harthy, Director General of Electronic Services and Communications, MOI. Information Technology and Services Development Category.
  • H.E. Brigadier General Brigadier General Mohammed Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Director General of Fire Protection and Protection at the General Directorate of Civil Defense, MOI. Society Safety, Protection, and Prevention Category.
  • H.E. Brigadier General Mohammed Obeid Al Dhaheri, Director General of Human Resources, MOI. Human Capital Development Category.
  • H.E. Brigadier-General Dr. Salah Obeid Al Ghoul. Director-General, Community Protection and Crime Prevention, MOI. Societal Protection and Education for Civil Societies Category.
  • H.E. Colonel Nasser Khadem Al Kaabi, Director General, the Happiness Directorate General, MOI. Customer and Community Happiness Category.
  • H.E. Colonel Mohammed Butti Al Shamsi, Director of the Public Relations Department, MOI. CSR and Corporate Relations Category.

The list also included H.E. Zayed Saeed Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Emirates Association for Lawyers and Legal Consultants, UAE, for the Category of Laws Regulatory Principles and Legislation in Civil Societies.

It is to take a note that the rest of the award winners are to be announced within a regional conference that is to be held on 2020.
