H.E. Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al-Khouri, Advisor, Arab Economic Unity Council League of Arab States Chairman of Arab Federation for Digital Economy, met Engineer Essam Al Sagheer, head of The National Postal Authority of Egypt (Egypt Post), in Cairo on 24 April 2019. The meeting was to discuss the ways of cooperation between Arab Economic Unity Council and Egypt Post, within the framework of the strategic Arab common vision for digital economy, which was announced by League of Arab States. It also included discussing cooperation to implement projects of digital inclusion, like electronic payments and transfers among Arab government authorities and organizations, this is under implementing initiatives of the strategic Arab common vision for digital economy, recently launched.

Also, during the meeting, parties agreed on holding a preparatory meeting for their work groups, to review the most noteworthy projects of Egypt Post, that are in alignment with initiatives of the strategic Arab common vision for digital economy.
