Digital Transformation is one of the fundamental programs to achieve KSA Vision 2030 – Saudi: confident steady steps towards digital transformation

No initiatives to improve economies of Arab countries would work without Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the only Arab country member of G20, the country group that represents two thirds of world population, and two thirds of world trade, and more than 90 percent of gross world product (GWP), and supports global economy.

And about digital economy aspect, KSA efforts are obvious in enabling society and economy to invest in the opportunities of digital transformation, and to accelerate reaching the objectives of kingdom vision 2030. Those efforts have been reviewed during the meeting of H.E. Dr. Ali Mohamed Al-Khouri, Advisor, Arab Economic Unity Council League of Arab States Chairman of Arab Federation for Digital Economy, with H.E. Mr. Saud bin Fahd Al-Suwailem, Saudi Charge d’Affaires in Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Al-Khouri commended the huge efforts of KSA to reach a digital economy, more diversified, and more competitive in different fields, like smart cities, healthcare, and digital shipyards, and many other fields of digital economies in the kingdom.

H.E. Mr. Saud bin Fahd Al-Suwailem, expressed how proud he is with the role of Arab Federation for Digital Economy in implementing the joint Arab action, through digital economy portal. He also reviewed the most important pillars of the Arab common vision, to raise Arab societies, and to improve Arab countries’ economies, through technological, legal, and knowledge infrastructure, and improving Arab cross border investments.

It is worth mentioning that KSA has made digital transformation one of the fundamental programs of kingdom vision 2030, to build eGovernement, and digital economy, with industry based on the tools of fourth industrial revolution, and digital community, and a better future for KSA.
