The Arab Federation for Digital Economy discusses strengthening cooperation in implementing the initiatives of the Arab vision for the digital economy with the Republic of the Comoros

The Arab Federation for Digital Economy of the Council of Arab Economic Unity of the League of Arab States held a coordination meeting with the Embassy of the Republic of the Comoros in the United Arab Emirates.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Ambassador Sayed Taher Sayed Nasser, Ambassador of the Republic of Comoros to the United Arab Emirates, and His Excellency Dr. Ali Mohamed Al-Khouri, Advisor to the Council of Arab Economic Unity, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Federation for Digital Economy, member of the Executive Office of Quality Unions at the Arab League, and a number of officials from both sides.

The meeting included a discussion of a number of important topics, on top of which was; Strengthening cooperation in implementing some of the initiatives emanating from the “Arab vision for the digital economy”.

The meeting also dealt with ways to support development goals in the Republic of the Comoros, support Arab-Arab cooperation, and focus on projects that improve the lives of Arab citizens, and raise the level of economic and social development in the countries of the region.

At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador of the Republic of Comoros expressed his welcome and interest in the initiatives emanating from the Arab vision for the digital economy, and stressed the importance of the “vision” in developing the fields of the digital economy in his country and the Arab region. The two sides agreed on some coordination steps.
