Today, Monday, October 10, 2022, the activities of GITEX Global 2022, in its 42nd edition, were launched at the Dubai World Trade Center, with the participation of more than 5,000 institutions from the government and private sectors.

The Arab Federation for Digital Economy is participating with a high-level delegation in the exhibition, which brings together 250 government entities that lead strategic digital projects and partnerships between the public and private sectors, and government agencies working to develop smart cities and digital projects.

This course constitutes the most influential edition in the history of the event as it covers diverse technological topics such as metavirs, the future of the decentralized Internet, and the sustainable global digital economy.

The course also includes launching various technical events during this global exhibition, namely “North Star Dubai” dedicated to startups, “Artificial Intelligence in Everything”, the “Future of Blockchain” Summit, “Fintech Surge” to support innovations in the financial technology sector, and the “Future of Blockchain” conference. Marketing Minia to discuss the future of digital and technological marketing, in addition to the launch of two new events, “Global Dive Slam” dedicated to global programmers and developers, and the “X-Verse” platform, which is intended for organizations interested in the latest metaverse technologies.

The five-day annual event reflects the ambitious digital transformation movement in the UAE and the region, along with government initiatives such as the UAE National Program for Coders, the Dubai Metaverse Strategy, and the “Next GenFDI” initiative that supports the advancement of national practices to the forefront of the global digital economy.
