The Arab Federation for Digital Economy participated in the activities of the first day with a speech on the digital economy delivered by the Assistant Secretary-General for International Community Affairs in the Federation, which revolves around the Arab vision for the digital economy and the initiatives emanating from it that were announced under the generous sponsorship of the United Arab Emirates, in Abu Dhabi in 2018.

The Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab Federation for the Digital Economy also praised the efforts made by the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the areas of the digital economy in order to enhance the sustainability of economic growth based on knowledge, innovation and future technological applications.

The “Seamless Saudi Arabia” conference was held on November 2-3, 2022 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, in the capital, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where His Excellency the Governor of the Saudi Central Bank, Dr. Fahd bin Abdullah Al Mubarak, opened the opening session of the conference, in the presence of His Excellency Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Sawaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and senior government officials and representatives of banks operating in the region.

It is worth noting that Seamless International Conference and Exhibition is the 23rd edition worldwide, and is the annual forum that brings together decision makers in the value chain of banking and financial services to discuss and shape the future of the business ecosystem.
