The activities of the 41st edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair 2022 kicked off on November 2, and will continue for 12 days until November 13, at the Expo Center Sharjah, under the slogan “A Word to the World,” reiterating the exhibition’s message in presenting the cultural project of the Emirate of Sharjah, and strengthening the awareness of communities strongly. And the impact of the word read in the future industry.

The exhibition was inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, in the presence of a number of Their Excellencies ministers, senior government officials, ambassadors and consuls accredited to the UAE, representatives of cultural and media organizations and institutions, and a group of writers, thinkers and intellectuals.

The Arab Federation for the Digital Economy is participating in a number of publications at the Sharjah International Book Fair, including the Arab Digital Economy Index 2022, the report on the economic performance of the Arab region, the economic foundations in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries in light of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Russian-Ukrainian war and its impact on Arab countries, and electronic payments Digital currencies, digital government, concepts and practices, and a wide range of other studies and reports.

More than 2,000 publishers from 95 countries around the world and 129 writers, thinkers and creators from 57 countries will gather at the Sharjah International Fair to participate in the revival of 1,047 diverse cultural activities in the exhibition organized by the Sharjah Book Authority.
