The Secretary-General of the League of Arab States honored His Excellency Dr. Ali Mohamed Al-Khouri, Advisor to the Council of Arab Economic Unity and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Union for Digital Economy, with the shield of the Arab League within the activities of the meetings of the (54th) session of the Higher Coordination Committee for joint Arab action hosted by the United Arab Emirates from 23 to January 26, 2023, in the presence of Their Excellencies, the Directors General and heads of Arab organizations affiliated with the League of Arab States, in recognition of his appreciated efforts at the head of the Union to support knowledge societies, accelerate the pace of digitization, and enhance the position of the digital economy in the Arab countries.

The honor came in recognition of the success of Dr. Ali Al-Khouri in leading the union to launch a number of Arab initiatives aimed at encouraging emerging digital companies and raising the capabilities of Arab youth in the field of entrepreneurship, appreciating the role of the Arab Union for Digital Economy in launching many Arab initiatives and managing a wide range of conferences and forums in cooperation with the League of Arab States. In addition to the Federation’s distinguished contributions in preparing studies and reports in cooperation with international institutions, which provide strategic visions and recommendations for decision-makers and policy-makers in the Arab region.
