The Director General of the Arab Organization for Communication and Information Technologies, Eng. Mohammed bin Omar, stressed that the issue of cybersecurity is one of the organization’s most important priorities, and over recent years work has been done to intensify efforts in this field by launching a special program for “cybersecurity,” which bears the slogan “Cyberspace.” “Safe Arab” in cooperation with regional and international partners. This program has resulted in many projects and practical outcomes, including the “Arab Cybersecurity Strategy” launched by the organization in 2022, which takes into account emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, and provides recommendations and practical measures necessary to create The right balance between AI innovation and ethical responsibilities.

Ibrahim Al-Hinai, Chairman of the Cybersecurity Committee at the Arab Federation for the Digital Economy, as a speaker in the dialogue sessions held within the activities of this important Arab event, which comes in the context of rapid digital developments and the increasing challenges related to data protection in light of the advancement of technology and the use of big data and artificial intelligence.
