The Arab Federation for the Digital Economy participates in the meeting of the regular session No. (116) of the Council of Arab Economic Unity at the ministerial level in the Arab Republic of Egypt

The Arab Federation for the Digital Economy, a member of the Executive Office of the Forum of Specialized Arab Federations of the League of Arab States, participated in the meeting of the regular session No. (116) of the Council of Arab Economic Unity at the ministerial level, which was held at the “Marriott” Hotel in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, in the presence of His Excellency Ambassador Mohammadi. Ahmed Al-Ni, Secretary-General of the Council for Arab Economic Unity, the permanent delegates of the Council’s member states, His Excellency the Minister Plenipotentiary / Mohamed Khair Abdel Qader, Secretary-General of the Arab Union for the Digital Economy, and the heads and secretaries of specialized Arab federations operating within the scope of the Council.

The ministerial session was opened by a number of ambassadors, presidents and delegations of member states, and the agenda covered the adoption of decisions issued by the preparatory committees held in Cairo.

Ambassador Mohammadi Ahmed Al-Ni pointed out that the ministerial meeting comes under exceptionally difficult circumstances that the Arab region is going through and requires more effort for Arab economic integration in a way that enhances raising the standard of living of citizens, facilitating the movement of intra-trade between all Arab countries, and opening new horizons towards… Achieving Arab economic growth that serves the development projects taking place in a number of Arab countries.

Ambassador Mohammadi Ahmed El-Ni, Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Economic Unity, indicated that the General Secretariat of the Council is making great efforts to develop an investment road map for the member states of the Council as well as joint Arab unions and companies to enhance economic flotation and integration between all Arab countries and the organizations and bodies that operate under the scope of the Council. Economic unity in order to achieve the common Arab market and economic growth aimed at raising the standard of living of citizens, facilitating the movement of intra-trade between all Arab countries, and opening new horizons towards achieving a sustainable Arab economic renaissance.
