Within the framework of the ambitious economic plans that Egypt intends to implement in the coming years, a strategic vision looms on the horizon to bring about radical and broad changes and transformations that go beyond mere ambition towards achieving economic growth to include building the foundations of sustainability, knowledge and inclusion. This strategic vision is crystallized through a group of interrelated efforts and initiatives to achieve goals efficiently and effectively, and to adapt and respond to changes and challenges flexibly. But there are several axes that must be paid attention to in this endeavour.

It is necessary for this vision to focus on supporting the pillars of economic stability as a basis for any future growth. This includes maintaining price stability, maintaining financial discipline, and addressing public debt in a responsible spirit towards sustainability. The goal here is not only to achieve temporary stability, but rather to build a knowledge-based economy that is compatible with global sustainable development trends.

Moreover, economic plans must not lose sight of the ambition to bring about a qualitative shift in the standards of life in Egyptian society. What is required is to look at the education and health sectors not merely as areas for development, but rather as basic axes for achieving comprehensive progress to improve the quality of services provided, raise the standard of living of citizens and create new job opportunities. It is necessary that economic development models not rely only on numbers and statistics, but also on the size of the direct impact on improving the quality of life for all classes of society.

Economic plans must recognize the pivotal role that Egypt can play on the global stage, especially through the strategic use of the Suez Canal, not only as a channel for trade but as a tool for economic diplomacy and enhancing Egypt’s position as a major commercial and logistical center in the world and as a symbol of Egypt’s broader aspirations for international cooperation and strategic partnerships. .

It is also necessary for economic plans to integrate and activate the role of Egyptian youth in driving the wheel of innovation and development, which is an essential step towards achieving real progress. This calls for investing in providing specialized educational and training programs that meet the needs of society, encouraging scientific research and entrepreneurial initiatives among young people, as well as creating interactive platforms that enable them to participate effectively in economic and development decision-making.

Egypt stands on the cusp of a new phase full of ambition, hope, and challenge, but it possesses the capabilities to strengthen its capabilities to overcome the challenges posed by the modern era. In the midst of ambitious and bold economic plans, the basic narrative remains the shift in economic policies, industrial transformation, and the production system, which must also include a change in mentalities and practices.

This calls on policymakers and investors to deeply reconsider the concepts of growth, sustainability and progress that meet national needs in an increasingly interconnected and globalized world. Of course, the coming journey is fraught with challenges, but it carries within it an opportunity to position Egypt in the global economic system as an influential economic and political power. This also urges the need to think and plan proactively for a future based on a sustainable and equitable development model that takes into account achieving a balance between economic, environmental, and social goals to ensure the building of a strong and cohesive society capable of withstanding future challenges.
