Lieutenant-General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, in the presence of His Excellency Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, inaugurated today the activities of the Conference and Exhibition on Digital Economy Technologies “Seamless 2021”, which will be held at the World Trade Center in Dubai and will run on September 29-30, 2021. Sponsored by the League of Arab States and organized by Terrapin International Conferences Organization.

The organization of the conference comes in the context of the Arab Vision for the Digital Economy project, which was announced in Abu Dhabi in December 2018, with the generous support and patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and a number of international institutions and organizations such as Harvard University participate in it. The United Nations and the World Bank.

His Highness attended the opening session of the conference, and His Highness and the attendees watched a film reviewing part of the efforts to develop the Arab digital economy and the initiatives and projects that enhance these efforts, in addition to listening to the speeches delivered at the opening ceremony.

The opening was attended by His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, His Excellency Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications, His Excellency Tariq Amer, Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt, His Excellency Hossam Zaki, Assistant Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Head of the Secretary’s Office General of the League of Arab States, His Excellency Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, His Excellency Dr. Ali Muhammad Al-Khoury, Advisor to the Council of Arab Economic Unity and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Economic Union, a number of Arab and foreign ambassadors accredited to the UAE, and a large number of Arab delegations, government officials and experts in the fields of economy digital.
