The Arab Federation for Digital Economy also regularly publishes books, studies, and reports on the green digital transformation. Among these was the publication of the book “The Low-Carbon Global Economy: Recommendations for Addressing the Repercussions of the Climate Crisis,” in parts one and two. The book comprehensively examines the phenomenon of global warming and the climate crisis, and how digital economy initiatives and programs can contribute to addressing this phenomenon. It also discusses the role of digital technologies in energy management and climate monitoring, leading to a green digital transformation aimed at sustaining sustainable development and preserving the planet for us and future generations.
The book features a qualitative research contribution from the Federation’s president and author, Dr. Ali Mohammed Al-Khouri. He provides descriptions and recommendations for policymakers and decision-makers in the Arab region, for developing climate-related legislation and public policies, and for formulating executive regulations to build national strategies for achieving green transformation and sustainable development.
